An iPhone hiking app and a 3D-printed trail display that shows the hike at a glance.
TrailMark is two pieces. An iPhone app tracks the hike, and a handheld screen in a 3D-printed case shows it: miles, ETA, a live route map and the weather. The display has no sensors of its own. Everything comes from the phone over Bluetooth. Its first real outing was a three-day hike in Vermont.
